D-DAY
Monday January 9. D-DAY. The diet begins.
I'm hoping by posting this on my blog it will give me an incentive to stick to my eat-healthy-and-excercise plan. I don't want to call it a diet because I don't plan on going hungry or starving.
Goodbye doughnut, my friend, my confidant....I will see you again when my cute jeans fit again.

Happy New Year!!
We spent this New Year with the family. Although it was low key we actually had a great time. The Gonzalez's/Guiets' got together with the Sardisco's and ordered in Lucille's ribs and chicken (mmmmmmm). Jose and I provided some wine and chapmagne and the other ladies provided the dessert. After dinner we all played LCR ( the grand prize pot was $11...high rollers!!) and then had a real white elephant gift raffle (something lying around the house that you don't want or some horridly ugly item that someone gave you as a gift or some other item unwanted for some reason). Chris and Angelina brought the best present, that they actually recieved for their wedding this past year: a pair of champagne glasses, but each stem had a man and a women with one arm stretched out and when the glasses were next to each other, their hands clasped. Classic.
So we all had a great time, and hopefully it means we'll have a fun and happy 2006!
Mmmmmm! The biscuits and mac n cheese were great too!

trying to look manly with funny hats on

Ok party's over!
